2025 Future of Distribution

Future of Distribution 2025: Meetings and Debates!

The Future of Distribution is where insurance leaders meet the next generation of innovation. This exclusive half-day program brings together agents, and brokers to explore how we can leverage the latest InsurTech technologies, and distribute the latest innovative MGA products being created.

There are 2 parts to this event, and you can sign up for each event separately.

(Part 1) 2PM – 5:25PM: Agents <> InsurTech Speed-dating

NOTE: Part 1 is now full, If you are agent or broker, and want to participate, please email contact@insurtechny.com. We have removed part one from the time slots on Luma, but this part is still happening, and if you are registered for it, you will have received an email for this.

Agents and brokers will meet on a rotational basis with over 25+ innovative InsurTech Enablers and Managing General Agents (MGAs) to talk about potential partnership opportunities. Only sign up for this if you are serious about working with Startups (either as a partner or a mentor).

(Part 2) 6:10PM – 8PM: Let’s Debate Old vs New!

Will AI replace all service work in insurance agencies? Do you feel the independent agency model will survive the next 10 years without consolidation? Do agencies need more technology, or should they make better use of what they already have? Is Insurance still truly about the relationships, or is it just a race for market saturation?

AI Solutions for Insurance

InsurTech SF Event Details

This event is our first partner event with Plug and Play and will be held as part of their Winter Silicon Valley Summit.

Artificial Intelligence has become a buzzword recently after the launch of Chat GPT 3 (now 4), Google’s Bard, and Claude. However, many of the initial applications of AI have been more for entertainment or personal assistant-like tasks. The tough part is to find the right applications of AI within the insurance industry that add value to core functions.

As the workforce ages, technology will be necessary to assist workers in insurance to do their jobs with smaller teams. AI can be the solution, especially in areas like claims where there is a substantial amount of data aggregation and manual review needed to adjudicate a claim.

To help understand these challenges, this event will feature a panel on AI in claims and a live 2-vs-2 debate on AI vs. privacy.

Venue Note: Plug and Play Tech Center December Summit is a private event. Tickets to the session does not allow entry to the three-day conference at Plug and Play Tech Center. Doors for this session open at 2:00 PM to check in. NO WALK-IN ALLOWED
