MGAs Are The Future

A focused afternoon for MGA and carrier leaders — candid sessions on what it takes to grow.

June 2, 2026

New York, NY

Invite-Only · MGAs & Carriers

The MGA model is evolving fast. New programs, shifting capacity relationships, and rising operational complexity are reshaping what it takes to grow sustainably. This invite-only afternoon brings together MGA and carrier leaders for candid sessions on the decisions that matter most right now.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for Insurance Nerds

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu For Insurance Nerds

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for Insurance Nerds

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for Insurance Nerds

Insurance runs on risk. So does Jiu-Jitsu. Before the Spring Conference kicks off, step off the conference floor and onto the mat for an hour of grappling, learning, and the kind of bonding that no networking happy hour can replicate.

Join fellow insurance professionals at the legendary Renzo Gracie Academy in New York City for a BJJ seminar unlike anything on the Spring Conference schedule. Whether you’ve been training for years or have never tied on a gi, this session is designed to meet you where you are — and push you somewhere new. Trade techniques, trade war stories, and leave with connections that go a little deeper than a business card exchange.

This is a ticketed partner event taking place ahead of InsurTech NY’s 2026 Spring Conference. Spots are $60 and limited — this one will fill up fast.

YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Fabio Coelho | 4th Degree Black Belt

Fabio Coelho grew up in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, and started training Jiu-Jitsu at 14 under Vinicius “Draculino” Magalhães — one of the most respected names in the sport. He earned his black belt under Renzo Gracie himself and has spent the last eight-plus years teaching at the Renzo Gracie Academy in New York City.

His specialty is the loop choke. His students will tell you he’s equally dangerous from every position.
Off the mat, Fabio holds a business degree and spends his downtime in nature — which, if you think about it, makes him a perfect fit for a room full of insurance people who spend their days calculating what happens when nature doesn’t cooperate.
