It’s Wildfire and Accelerator Season

14,722,000 acres have burned.  That’s nearly the size of West Virginia.

As of mid-June, there were 330 active wildfires in Canada. With apocalyptic burnt red pictures of Manhattanhenge and regular citing of red on the air quality index, it makes you wonder: What can I do?

It is clear: “If you don’t burn it when you want to, nature burns when it wants to . . .” said Ivan O’Neill, CEO of Wuuii, on the InsurTech Amplified Podcast. “If you don’t tend the land . . . it accumulates and a catastrophic fire happens.”

Now is our time to step up and support InsurTechs like Wuuii that predict, prevent, and mitigate wildfires and other related perils (and tune into InsurTech Amplified).
