Steve Robinson is the Chief Revenue Officer at Infras, formerly iLife Technologies. Infras partners with insurance carriers to modernize their technology platforms. Its Universal API connects carriers’ products, platforms, and distribution partners through a single orchestration layer. Steve leads the company’s go-to-market strategy. He has spent more than 25 years in insurance distribution and technology. His focus is using technology to simplify how insurance is bought and sold. Steve Robinson spoke at the 2023 InsurTech Spring Conference on the panel “How to Sell to Millennials and Gen Z,” alongside Paul Tyler, Jared Rieger, and Bryan Davis.
Before Infras, Steve was Chief Distribution Officer at Bestow Life Insurance. There he led agent and partnership distribution across more than 400 brokerage general agencies. He negotiated contracts with top independent marketing organizations. Under his leadership, the business reached profitability within 18 months. He also grew policy sales significantly two years running.
Steve spent a decade at Legal & General America. He served as Vice President and Head of U.S. Partnerships. Earlier, he led IMO and BGA sales, helping more than double group premium. Before that, he held sales and account leadership roles at Protective Life and Genworth. Across these roles, he built deep expertise in life insurance distribution.
Steve holds a BA in Sociology and English from Longwood University.
