Sarika Gupta is the Senior Vice President and Head of Insurance Market Growth at EXL. EXL is a global data analytics and digital operations company. Insurance is its largest vertical. Sarika drives growth and market strategy for the US insurance business. She works with industry executives and analysts to track market trends. She helps insurers use data and digital capabilities to optimize their operating models. She is also a member of EXL’s Global Leadership Committee. Sarika joined EXL in 2017. She previously served as Vice President and Head of the Individual Insurance Market. In that role she led the retail life business and drove double-digit growth. Her work has consistently focused on the intersection of insurance operations and technology.
Before EXL, Sarika was a Senior Client Partner at Cognizant. Earlier, she spent five years at MphasiS, an HP company. She served as Associate Vice President and Senior Client Partner there. She began her career at Birlasoft, where she rose from manager to director of sales.
Sarika is a recognized voice in insurance operations and digital transformation. She advises C-suite executives on launching products and optimizing operating models. She also advises on data-driven transformation and outsourcing strategy.
Sarika holds an MS in Information Systems from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. She also earned an MBA in Marketing and IT from Amity University.
