Pilar R. Lorenzo

Pilar R. Lorenzo is the Vice President of the Intermediaries Business Unit at Chubb. She leads distribution strategy and sales operating model design across multiple geographies and market segments. Her career spans broker and omnichannel distribution, business development, and digital innovation. She has worked across high-net-worth personal lines and commercial lines in North America and Asia. She specializes in building scalable sales and distribution operating models. Pilar R. Lorenzo speaks at the 2026 InsurTech Spring Conference on the panel “Distribution Beyond the Submission,” moderated by Heather Turner, alongside Garrett Koehn, Raj Kalahasthi, and Sandeep Haridas.

Pilar has spent more than six years at Chubb. She previously served as Vice President and Head of Independent Distribution Partners for Asia. There she led distribution across the Asia Pacific region for P&C and consumer lines. She navigated complex regulatory environments and delivered double-digit year-over-year growth. Earlier, she was a Sales Manager for the company’s Illinois branch.

Before Chubb, Pilar spent more than four years at AIG. She worked in multinational portfolio management for AIG Private Client Group. She specialized in tailored personal insurance solutions for multinational partners. She also served as a high-net-worth client advisor, focused on the top end of the P&C market.

Pilar began her career at American Family Insurance. She spent a decade there, building an agency from the ground up and later serving as a Regional Sales and Recruitment Director.

Pilar earned a master’s degree in Business Administration from DePaul University. She also holds a private risk management advisor credential from St. John’s University.
