Michael Levin is a serial entrepreneur with a track record of building companies that tackle complex challenges. He is the Co-Founder of Ideon, the infrastructure that connects health insurance carriers and benefits providers with technology partners. Ideon’s APIs power quoting, enrollment, and eligibility data across the insurance industry. He most recently became Senior Vice President and General Manager for ICHRA at HealthSherpa. His work centers on the digital plumbing behind health and employee benefits. Michael Levin spoke at the 2023 InsurTech Spring Conference on the panel “Conquering Unstructured Data with InsurTechs,” alongside Lisa Wardlaw, Swatee Singh, and Robert Huntsman.
Michael co-founded Ideon and led it as CEO for more than a decade. He built it into the infrastructure layer connecting carriers and insurtechs. Its APIs transmit billions of data points to power digital distribution. He remains a co-founder of the company.
Michael’s ventures have earned wide recognition. His companies have appeared three times on the Inc. 500 list and twice on the Inc. 5000. Across his ventures, he has secured $100 million in debt and equity financing.
Michael is also active in benefits policy and advising. He is a founding board member of the HRA Council, which advocates for expanded health coverage options. He also advises companies through his consulting practice, Connectivity Advisors.
Michael holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University.
