Stephanie Khoo is a Partner at Nyca, a venture capital firm focused on financial technology and the future of financial services. Based in New York, she invests in innovative fintech companies and works closely with founders building solutions that improve access to financial products and modernize global financial infrastructure.
Since joining Nyca in 2019, Stephanie has played a key role in sourcing and leading investments across fintech, insurtech, payments, and regulatory technology (regtech). Her investment work focuses on companies developing compliance software, payment infrastructure, and insurance technology designed to expand financial access while delivering better user experiences.
At Nyca, she has helped lead investments in companies such as Tint and CoverForce in the insurtech sector, as well as Gr4vy, a payment orchestration platform, and Modern Logic, a no-code compliance workflow company. She has also contributed to the firm’s thinking on capital markets and supported growth-stage investments in global fintech leaders including Payoneer, Revolut, and GoCardless.
Before joining Nyca, Stephanie was a Vice President in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs, where she worked in the Financial Institutions Group covering fintech and insurtech companies. During her time there, she worked across both Sydney and New York, advising financial technology companies and financial institutions on strategic and capital markets transactions.
Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales.
