Stephanie Khoo is a Partner at Nyca Partners. Nyca is a venture capital firm focused on fintech and financial services innovation. Stephanie invests in early-stage companies across fintech and insurtech. She joined the firm as a Principal and was promoted to Partner in 2022. She brings a strong background in financial institutions and capital markets. Stephanie Khoo speaks at the 2026 InsurTech Spring Conference on the panel “Early Stage Startup Investing in 2026,” moderated by David Gritz, alongside Josh Curry and Ihar Mahaniok.
Before Nyca, Stephanie spent more than seven years at Goldman Sachs. She served as a Vice President in the Financial Institutions Group. There she advised banks, insurers, and other financial institutions. That work gave her deep insight into how financial services companies grow and transact. She now applies that lens to backing early-stage founders.
Stephanie is also a returning InsurTech NY speaker. She previously joined a “Behind the Scenes at a VC” session at a past InsurTech NY event in 2021.
Stephanie earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance, with distinction, and a Bachelor of Laws with honours from the University of New South Wales. She also completed an international exchange in finance at NYU Stern School of Business. While at university, she founded the UNSW Consulting Club.
