Ryan Duques is the Chief Operating Officer at Warner Wealth. He is also an Entrepreneur in Residence at Yale Ventures. Ryan is a strategic, solutions-oriented entrepreneur. He has a track record of starting and scaling innovative businesses. His expertise spans strategy, product commercialization, and strategic partnerships. Ryan Duques spoke at the 2024 InsurTech Spring Conference on the panel “Living up to the Embedded Insurance Promise,” alongside Isaac Espinoza, Scott Whitehead, Brian Casey, and Gabriel Weiss.
Before Warner Wealth, Ryan spent more than five years at Travelers. He worked on the company’s Personal Insurance Innovation team. He most recently served as AVP of Emerging and Innovation Partnerships. Earlier, he was Head of Emerging Partnerships and Head of Growth Offerings. There he led efforts to commercialize and scale digital products from MVP to enterprise. He joined the innovation team as a lead entrepreneur on Traverse.
Ryan is also active in his community and the broader financial sector. He serves on the board of directors of Ascend Bank, where he chairs the technology committee. He also served for 17 years on the Economic Development Commission of Madison, Connecticut. He chaired that commission for a decade.
Ryan earned a BBA in Finance and Operations Management from the Isenberg School of Management at UMass Amherst. He also completed an executive certificate in Artificial Intelligence from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
