Russell Isaacson is a seasoned digital strategist and business development executive with over 20 years of experience spanning insurance, fintech, eCommerce, media, and enterprise software. He currently serves as Head of Mid-Market Sales at Zip Co, where he helps merchants and partners unlock growth through innovative embedded finance and point-of-sale solutions.

Before joining Zip, Russell played a pivotal role at Boost Insurance as VP of Embedded Insurance Channel, where he developed a robust pipeline of cross-industry distribution partnerships and helped grow gross written premium by 40% year-over-year. His work at Boost bridged the gap between traditional insurance and new digital distribution models—giving him a unique perspective on the evolution of embedded insurance.

Russell’s career also includes leadership roles at Bolt, Ally Lending, and Klarna, where he led go-to-market efforts for high-growth fintech products and closed strategic partnerships with global retailers. In each of these roles, Russell has demonstrated his ability to guide complex B2B sales cycles, build trusted executive relationships, and launch products that meet the evolving needs of both consumers and enterprise clients.

A former adjunct professor at NYU and instructor at General Assembly, Russell also brings a passion for education and mentoring, having taught courses on digital marketing and CRM to Fortune 500 companies.

With a strong foundation in client development, marketing strategy, and embedded finance, Russell brings a big-picture view of where financial services are heading—and how insurance fits into a broader commerce and consumer experience landscape.
