Gallagher

Rhonda Marcucci is a longtime thought leader in employee benefits and HR technology. She most recently served as Vice President of Innovation at Gallagher. Gallagher is one of the largest insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the world. There she drove innovation across Gallagher Benefit Services. She helped consultants bring more proactive, targeted solutions to their clients. She retired in 2024 after more than 40 years in the industry. Rhonda Marcucci spoke at the 2024 InsurTech Spring Conference on the panel “Making the Agent’s Life Easier,” moderated by Jason Gross, alongside James Riviezzo, Cameron Torstenson, Aviad Pinkovezky, and John Keddy.

Before her innovation role, Rhonda led Gallagher’s HR and Benefits Technology Consulting Practice. She managed a team of consultants advising employers on HR technology strategy. That work covered sourcing, implementation, and optimization of benefits systems.

Rhonda came to Gallagher through an acquisition. She was a partner and consultant at Gruppo Marcucci, the boutique consultancy she built. The firm served the benefits enrollment technology and outsourcing industry. Gallagher acquired it in 2017 and made it the foundation of its technology consulting practice.

Rhonda’s career spans finance, operations, and strategy. She was a Senior Vice President at Marsh, developing middle-market benefits administration offerings. Earlier, she was CFO of Viaticus, a startup that became the market leader in the viatical settlement industry.

Rhonda is a CPA. She earned an MBA in Management from Loyola University Chicago and a BS in Accounting from Millikin University.
