Randel Bennett is the Chief Executive Officer of Qixent. He cofounded the company to modernize insurance and make it clearer and easier for real people. His work sits at the crossroads of business, technology, and design. He grew up in the insurance world and has spent his career building within it. He enjoys turning messy problems into clean, working systems. Randel Bennett spoke at the 2023 InsurTech Spring Conference on the panel “Magic Formula for Digital MGA Insurer Partnerships,” alongside Kaenan Hertz, Michael Scholl, Dogan Kaleli, and Zach Lerner.
Before Qixent, Randel was a Vice President at Swiss Re. He served as a Strategic Partnerships Manager for Swiss Re Solutions. There he worked with MGAs and digital partners on capacity and distribution. He also served as a Vice President and Product Manager for iptiQ, Swiss Re’s white-label insurance platform. Those years taught him how big systems run and why change is hard.
Randel is also a repeat founder. He cofounded Sigo, where he served as Vice President of Insurance. Sigo focused on serving underserved insurance markets. Earlier, he led product management at First Chicago Insurance Company.
Randel earned an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. He also holds a BBA in International Business from Florida International University.
