Paranjay Malhotra

Paranjay Malhotra is the Vice President and Head of Banking at Anaplan. Anaplan is a connected planning platform used by global enterprises. Paranjay leads the company’s banking business and its sales team. He helps banks modernize planning across finance, workforce, operations, and profitability. He is an enterprise sales and transformation leader with more than 12 years of experience. Paranjay Malhotra spoke at the 2023 InsurTech Spring Conference on the panel “The Zero-Sum vs. The Win-Win Partnership Philosophy,” alongside Jeff Cohen, Brent Hammer, Lauren Pollock, and Eric Ayala.

Paranjay has spent nearly six years at Anaplan. He joined as a Solution Architect and rose through the company. He worked as a Major Account Executive in financial services and then a Major Account Director in global banking. He was promoted to Vice President and Head of Banking in 2026. He is a Master Anaplanner and a multiple-time President’s Club and Chairman’s Club winner.

Before Anaplan, Paranjay spent nearly five years at Prudential Financial. He served as Manager of Analytics and Modeling in financial technology. He led global finance transformation initiatives across FP&A, capital planning, and executive reporting. He also deployed automation and AI solutions across the finance organization. Earlier, he was an application developer at Highmark Health.

Paranjay earned an MBA in Data Intelligence from Saint Joseph’s University. He also holds a BS in Health Services and Computer Science there. He was captain of the university’s Division I men’s tennis team.
