Lauren Pollock is the Head of Strategy for Convex US at Convex Insurance. Convex is a specialty insurer and reinsurer focused on complex risks. Lauren leads strategy for the company’s US business. She brings deep experience across specialty insurance, cyber, and product development. She has worked on both the carrier and reinsurance sides of the industry. Lauren Pollock spoke at the 2023 InsurTech Spring Conference on the panel “The Zero-Sum vs. The Win-Win Partnership Philosophy,” alongside Jeff Cohen, Brent Hammer, Paranjay Malhotra, and Eric Ayala.
Lauren has led US strategy at Convex since 2021. Her focus is shaping how the specialty insurer grows and competes in the US market. That role draws on her broad background across insurance and reinsurance.
Before Convex, Lauren was Head of Digital Cyber at AXA XL. She led the company’s digital cyber insurance efforts for nearly five years. Earlier, she was VP of Product Development at Argo Group. She began her career as a Risk Analyst at Guy Carpenter, the reinsurance brokerage.
Lauren earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. She also holds a BSFS in International Economics from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service.
