Nicole Cleves is a benefits and HR technology sales leader with nearly three decades of experience. She most recently served as National Technology Partnerships Sales Practice Leader at The Hartford. The Hartford is a leading provider of employee benefits and insurance. There she led sales practice for HR technology partnerships. Her career centers on group benefits, voluntary benefits, and enrollment strategy. Nicole Cleves spoke at the 2024 InsurTech Spring Conference on the panel “Winning More Group Business with Better Workflows,” alongside Ramsey Smith, Charlie Horn, Ben Yomtoob, and Paul McGee.
Nicole spent more than 11 years at The Hartford. She led national technology partnerships and sales practice for the benefits business. Her focus was connecting HR technology platforms with group benefits.
Earlier, Nicole spent nearly eight years at Univers Workplace Solutions. She served as Vice President of Specialty Benefits and Vice President of Consulting. She advised large employers, associations, and unions on benefit enrollment and communication. She specialized in solutions for both full-time and part-time employees.
Nicole began her career in employee benefits sales. She was a Senior Account Executive at Unum, selling ancillary benefit products. She also held account executive roles at The Hauser Insurance Group and Acordia. She studied at Northern Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky.
