Ben Yomtoob is Founder and Lead Consultant of BuckleyRoberts, an HR technology consulting firm focused on the needs of employers, carriers, vendors, broker-consultants, and investors. At BuckleyRoberts, Ben advises clients on AI, strategy development, needs analysis, technology sourcing, partnership governance, implementation management, and acquisition due diligence. His work helps organizations evaluate, select, and implement benefits technology in a market shaped by growing complexity and rapid change. Ben spoke at our 2024 InsurTech Spring Conference on “Winning more Group Business with Better Workflows”, alongside Nicole Cleves, Ramsey Smith, and Paul McGee.
Ben Yomtoob brings more than 25 years of corporate technology experience, including more than 15 years in employee benefits and HR technology consulting. Before founding BuckleyRoberts, Ben served as Chief Executive Officer of Workterra, a benefits administration software and services company serving mid-market employers. Workterra’s platform is designed to simplify benefits administration and enrollment for HR teams and employees through configurable technology, reporting capabilities, data exchange support, and administrative services.
Before Workterra, Ben worked as a Consultant at Gallagher, where he advised brokers, carriers, and employers on healthcare exchanges and benefits technology. At Gallagher, Ben helped clients with platform selection and understanding the competitive landscape, giving him a practical view of how employers, insurance carriers, brokers, and technology providers evaluate benefits administration systems and related HR technology.
Ben Yomtoob is also Co-Founder of The Benefits Guidance Consortium and a Member of The Advisor Collective. His background across consulting, benefits administration, software, and corporate technology gives him a useful perspective on both the buyer and provider sides of the HR technology market. Ben holds an MBA in Policy Studies from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
