Meg Duty is a Senior Vice President at Puritan Life Insurance Company of America. Puritan Life is an established carrier built on a modern, all-cloud technology platform. Meg has built that platform from the ground up with a lean operating model. She crafts the company’s technology roadmap and information security program. She also leads its marketing and digital distribution efforts. Meg Duty spoke at the 2025 InsurTech Spring Conference on the panel “Digital Journey for Agents,” moderated by Jason Gross, alongside Chris Sekerak, Jeff Merkel, and Priya Raghunatha.
Meg has spent nearly seven years at Puritan Life. She joined as Vice President of Technology and Project Delivery. She was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2022. She built the carrier’s cloud platform, security program, and agent and direct-to-consumer experiences. She also serves as SVP at Canvas Annuity, Puritan’s direct-to-consumer annuity business. There she helped build a platform where applications can be completed in minutes.
Before Puritan, Meg was Technology Director at Verde Capital Partners. She delivered technology solutions across multiple insurance carriers and agencies. Earlier, she was a Product Manager at SilverRock Group. That work spanned life, annuity, health, and property and casualty lines.
Meg earned an MS in Information Management from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. She also holds a BS in Accountancy, earned Magna Cum Laude.
