Carey Anne Nadeau is Chief Executive Officer of LOOP, a technology-driven auto insurance company. At LOOP, Carey Anne leads a company focused on fair, bias-free car insurance built on data science. She co-founded the company to rethink how auto insurance is priced. She brings a background in data, research, and public policy to that mission. Carey Anne spoke at our 2023 InsurTech Spring Conference on “Using AI in Claims Management,” alongside Sri Ramaswamy, Dan Dubiner, Tanner Hackett, and Dan Abrahamsen.
Carey Anne Nadeau has led LOOP since 2015. Before founding the company, she built a career in data science and economic research. She served as a Research Analyst at The Brookings Institution, a leading Washington think tank. There, she measured the economic impact of social policy in cities.
Carey Anne’s research career also spans MIT and the Urban Institute. As a research affiliate at MIT, she developed work quantifying the living wage and the affordability of public transportation. Earlier, at the Urban Institute, she researched social policy and reintegration programs. That analytical foundation now informs how LOOP uses data to price insurance fairly.
Carey Anne Nadeau holds a Master’s in City Planning from MIT and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The George Washington University. For an insurtech audience, Carey Anne brings a data scientist and founder’s perspective on fair pricing, artificial intelligence, claims management, and building a more equitable model for auto insurance.
