Aman Gour is Co-Founder and CEO of FurtherAI, a domain-specific AI company built for the insurance industry. FurtherAI helps insurers, MGAs, and brokers automate complex workflows such as submission intake, policy comparisons, audits, and claims processing. The company is backed by investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Y Combinator, Nexus, South Park Commons, and Converge, and supports customers writing more than $50 billion in premiums across lines of business.
Gour is focused on applying artificial intelligence to the operational work that keeps insurance organizations moving but often slows teams down. Through FurtherAI, he works on AI assistants designed to reduce manual busywork, improve workflow efficiency, and help insurance teams make better decisions at scale.
Before founding FurtherAI, Gour was Co-Founder and President of TurboHire, an AI recruiting technology company that helped large enterprises use their resume databases to identify candidates for new job openings. At TurboHire, he led product, helped scale revenue to early seven figures, and built a team across engineering and sales.
Earlier in his career, Gour worked at Microsoft as both a Product Manager and Software Engineer. As a Product Manager, he helped build a cloud-hosted, mobile-first training platform for frontline workers in emerging markets, supporting customer engagements in countries including South Africa, Kenya, and Nigeria. As a Software Engineer, he contributed to Microsoft Dynamics 365, working on customer relationship management and data export features for enterprise users.
Gour earned a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, where he also served as a teaching assistant in machine learning and data interpretation. He was part of Y Combinator’s Winter 2024 batch with FurtherAI. At an insurtech conference, he brings a founder’s perspective on insurance AI, workflow automation, underwriting operations, claims processing, and building technology for complex enterprise environments.
