Allyson Laurance

Allyson Laurance is a seasoned strategy and business development executive with over 15 years of experience delivering growth across financial services, insurance, retail, and global technology. She currently serves as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives in Global Technology at Prudential Financial, where she drives enterprise-wide transformation efforts by aligning innovation, strategic planning, and digital execution.

Previously, Allyson led business development for Prudential’s growth portfolio, identifying partnerships, M&A opportunities, and investments that enabled the company to enter new markets, launch products, and expand customer reach. Her cross-functional expertise spans everything from early-stage innovation to complex commercial negotiation, making her a rare bridge between corporate scale and startup agility.

Allyson also held senior strategy roles at Citi, where she led global payment partnerships and strategic investments for Citi’s transaction banking business. She played a key role in scaling partner ecosystems and delivering new go-to-market frameworks to support Citi’s fintech collaborations worldwide.

Her career began in the operations and supply chain world—leading GTM strategies at companies like Le Pain Quotidien and Hale & Hearty—before moving into consulting at WTW, where she helped global insurance clients launch new offerings across Europe and Asia.

Currently a Strategic Advisory Board Member at FTV Capital, Allyson brings an investor’s mindset to strategic growth. She is known for her ability to deconstruct complex problems, manage global teams, and create sustainable value through innovation, partnership, and technology.
