Zander Steele is the CEO and Co-founder of Kratos AI, a company building next-generation AI data centers across the United States. Kratos AI harnesses and develops idle power capacity to bring AI data center infrastructure online quickly, helping meet the rapid growth in compute demand driving artificial intelligence. Zander’s work centers on AI infrastructure, energy, and enterprise go-to-market strategy. Zander Steele previously spoke at InsurTech NY’s War Stories Working with InsurTech Startup event on the “Magic Formula for Proof of Concepts” panel, alongside Victor Dan of Prudential Financial and Olek Shestakov of Livegenic.
Alongside Kratos AI, Zander is the founder of Steele Capital, a sales consultancy through which he serves as a fractional Chief Revenue Officer for seed and Series A startups. In that role he advises early-stage founders on B2B sales, helping companies grow from their first dollars of revenue to more than $30M in recurring revenue.
Before launching his own companies, Zander Steele built a strong record in enterprise software sales. As Head of Sales at Vesta, he was the first sales hire, landing the company’s first six clients and its first contract worth more than $1M. Earlier, across four years at Hyperscience, he again joined as the first sales hire and helped grow the company from $1M to $30M in ARR. There he advanced from Enterprise Account Executive to Director and then Area Vice President of Enterprise Sales, ranking as the top individual sales representative in 2019 and 2020 and the top regional leader in 2021. He began his career in solutions roles at Box and Medallia, supporting Fortune 500 accounts.
Zander earned bachelor’s degrees in Electrical Engineering and Management Science from UC San Diego, graduating cum laude with Department Honors with Distinction and election to Phi Beta Kappa.
