Yandy Plasencia is the Founder and CEO of DataHaven. DataHaven is an AI-powered insurance intelligence platform for carriers. It gives finance teams daily, drillable visibility into combined ratio, loss ratio, and expense ratio. That view spans every line of business, TPA, and product channel. The platform replaces fragmented spreadsheets with a fully managed, AI-augmented system. It standardizes and reconciles data across MGAs, carriers, and reinsurers. The result is a single, governed source of truth for underwriting, claims, and financial reporting. Yandy Plasencia is a repeat software founder. Alongside DataHaven, he serves as Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Done Software and CardLink Software. He has also run DataHaven Consulting since 2016, advising on data and business intelligence.
His career began in finance. Before founding his companies, Yandy was Assistant Controller for Business Intelligence at Marine Harvest Group. That role sat at the intersection of accounting and data. It is the same intersection his products serve today. It shaped his belief that finance leaders deserve better than backward-looking reports.
