Tiffine Wang is the CEO and Managing Partner of Onsen Global. Onsen Global is a venture platform focused on AI, infrastructure, financial systems, healthcare, and deep technology. It brings together capital, strategic execution, and global relationships. Tiffine is a Silicon Valley venture capitalist known for cross-border investing and AI. She also serves as a venture capital advisor to Singtel Group. Tiffine Wang spoke at InsurTech NY’s 2022 Investing in InsurTech event in San Francisco, on the panel “What It Means to Be Strategic to a CVC,” alongside Cheryl Yakey, Steve Bernardez, Jason Gross, and Josh Curry.
Before Onsen Global, Tiffine was a Partner at MS&AD Ventures. There she co-managed $300 million across four funds. MS&AD Ventures is the corporate venture arm of a major insurance group. She invested across fintech, insurtech, AI, cybersecurity, and digital health. Her investments include Carro, Multiplier, Intellect, BeeHero, Fairmatic, and Coverflex.
Tiffine has deep experience in corporate venture capital. She earlier worked with Singtel Innov8, a large Silicon Valley technology fund. There she led strategic investments and partnerships across many sectors. She began her venture career after early roles in startups and accelerator programs. She was also an early team member at Alchemist Accelerator.
Tiffine is recognized as one of Silicon Valley’s 40 Under 40 and a Woman of Influence. She has also been named a Top Emerging Leader by Global Corporate Venturing. She serves as an Industry Fellow at UC Berkeley and an advisory board member at UC Santa Cruz. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of California, Davis.
