Sahar Omrani is the Vice President of Product Management at Signal Advisors. Signal Advisors is an IMO with an end-to-end software platform for financial advisors. The platform simplifies annuity, life, and managed money business, from new business to commissions. Sahar leads product at the intersection of insurtech and fintech. Her focus is designing technology that empowers people and improves outcomes for consumers. She believes insurance and advice are still service businesses at their core. Sahar joined Signal Advisors in 2020 as Director of Product Management. She was promoted to Vice President of Product Management in 2023. She has helped build the platform that makes advisors’ work simpler so they can serve clients better.
Before Signal Advisors, Sahar worked at New York Life Ventures. This is the corporate venture capital and innovation arm of New York Life. She served as Chief of Staff and Corporate Vice President. There she worked across venture investments, R&D, business development, and innovation consulting.
Earlier, Sahar was a product manager on Ford Motor Company’s smart mobility team. She also worked as an innovation consultant at Innovatrium, advising Fortune 500 clients. During her MBA, she served as Director of Investments for the Social Venture Fund, the first student-run social impact venture fund.
Sahar holds an MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business. She also earned a BA in Economics and International Studies from Yale University.
