Sabine VanderLinden is the CEO, Founder, and Managing Partner of Alchemy Crew Ventures. Alchemy Crew is a global R&D and adoption practice. It connects Fortune 500 corporations with frontier technology ventures. Sabine focuses on technology adoption at scale and the responsible deployment of AI. She helps startups win their first enterprise clients and helps corporates adopt technology that drives growth. Sabine VanderLinden spoke at the 2023 InsurTech Spring Conference on the panel “DE&I – Bridging the Talent Gap,” alongside Sokhiba Mukhitdinova, Angela Grant, Pamela Corey, and Elsa Fernandez.
Sabine is a well-known figure in the global insurtech community. Through Alchemy Crew, she has accelerated more than 160 ventures. She has sourced over 55,000 startups worldwide and invested in more than 35 early-stage companies. Her work has produced notable exits, including FitSense to Zurich and Tia Tech to Sapiens. She built insurer-led acceleration programs that turned pilots into commercial success.
Sabine is also an author and educator. She co-edited the bestselling INSURTECH Book. She lectures on the Venture Client Model at Bayes Business School. She hosts the “Scouting for Growth” podcast, a top business show. She has also held board and advisory roles across venture funds, scaleups, standards bodies, and global insurers.
Sabine has been recognized with more than ten industry awards. These include Most Influential CEO in Insurance Corporate Ventures in 2024 and 2025. She earned an MBA in Strategy and International Business from Bayes Business School.
