Ryan Mathisen is Co-Founder of GloveBox, a customer experience platform streamlining policy access, servicing, and communication between insurance agencies and their clients. With over a decade in the independent agency world, Ryan knows firsthand the pain points of distribution — especially the fractured systems and data silos that plague the service experience.
Before launching GloveBox in 2019, Ryan served as Vice President at Colorado Insurance and co-led its commercial division, The Business Protection Team. There, he helped scale operations and witnessed the mounting pressure on service desks as consumer expectations evolved. His experience laid the groundwork for GloveBox’s mission: give consumers and agents one seamless place to manage their insurance — regardless of carrier.
At the heart of Ryan’s work is a conviction that AI won’t meaningfully impact insurance servicing without first solving the data-access bottleneck. His voice in the industry challenges tech vendors and carriers alike to prioritize connectivity, clean data, and transparency.
