Rajasekhar Kalahasthi joined The Baldwin Group (also known as Baldwin Risk Partners) as Chief Digital & Information Officer (CD&IO) in 2021, bringing with him more than two decades of proven IT leadership across major financial institutions.
Before joining The Baldwin Group, Raj served as Chief Information Officer at Comerica Bank — leading their Retail and Wealth Management divisions. Prior to that, he held senior technology leadership roles at other Fortune 100 companies, including HSBC, Citibank, and General Electric — working across the United States, Latin America, and India.
At The Baldwin Group, Raj oversees the company’s enterprise technology organization and drives the firm’s digital and data-driven transformation initiatives. His leadership has been instrumental in modernizing the firm’s infrastructure, building cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and analysts, and integrating technology platforms that enhance both colleague productivity and client experience.
A firm believer in balancing human insight with technological innovation, Raj champions a “business-savvy technologist” model — combining deep business understanding with technology fluency to deliver seamless and trustworthy digital solutions.
Raj holds a Master of Science in Information Technology from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani (BITS-Pilani) / IIIT‑Bangalore (IIIT-B) in India, and an MBA from University of Michigan – Ross School of Business.
