Neeren Chauhan is a founder and insurance innovation leader focused on AI-native risk products. He is currently building a stealth startup in that space. His career centers on reimagining insurance with innovation, technology, and customer-centric solutions. He brings deep experience across enterprise AI, strategy, and insurance distribution. He has worked at the frontline of AI adoption inside a global insurer. Neeren spoke at a past InsurTechNY event.
Most recently, Neeren served as Chief AI Officer at Tokio Marine Group. He built the company’s AI capability from scratch. He defined strategy and governance, enabled the infrastructure, and shipped models into production. His team launched AI-powered submission processing and claims automation. He also helped rewire corporate functions with agentic AI. That work gave him a frontline view of what works at enterprise scale.
Before Tokio Marine, Neeren led strategy, innovation, and partnerships at Zurich North America. He ran innovation and new venture development. He launched products, built insurtech partnerships, and scaled distribution.
Neeren spent six years at Allstate in insurance distribution. He opened new distribution channels and market segments. He built go-to-market playbooks and led cross-functional teams across product, technology, and agency operations.
Neeren studied economics at The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
