Natasha Alexeeva is the Founder and CEO of Friendly. Friendly is building the next generation of insurance technology. Natasha is a proven leader with more than 15 years of experience in machine learning and AI. Her background spans data analytics, software architecture, and program management. She is a hands-on technologist and repeat founder. Natasha Alexeeva spoke at the 2024 InsurTech Spring Conference on the panel “Increasing Speed of Underwriting,” alongside Sophie Norman, Scott Hawkins, and Nanditha Nandy.
Natasha founded Friendly in 2020 to reimagine insurance with AI. Her focus is applying machine learning to underwriting and the customer experience. That work draws on a deep technical foundation across many industries.
Before Friendly, Natasha worked in new service incubation at Amazon Web Services. She was hired to build a team identifying promising ML and AI initiatives and taking them to market. Earlier, she founded GoGoHealth, a pioneer in electronic medical record-integrated telemedicine. That company used rule-based techniques and machine learning to streamline patient-doctor interactions.
Natasha also led an analytics team at Visa. Earlier, she was a Manager of Client Engagement at Resonant Software. Resonant focused on insurance straight-through processing and was acquired by iPipeline. That role gave her early, direct experience in insurance technology.
Natasha earned an MBA from Stanford University. She also holds a BS in Computer Science from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
