Mohammed Dastigir is the Head of FinTech and HealthTech Partnerships and Ecosystem Development at MassMutual. MassMutual is a leading mutual life insurance company. Mohammed leads the company’s fintech and healthtech partnerships. His focus is ecosystem development and fostering collaborative innovation. He is a serial entrepreneur turned industry leader with over two decades of experience. His expertise spans business strategy, product development, and portfolio management. Mohammed has spent more than 18 years at MassMutual. He rose through a series of program and project management leadership roles. He served as Head of the US Business Project Management Office. There he oversaw a portfolio of more than $70 million across operations, sales, and product. He earlier led the Worksite Insurance project management organization.
Mohammed moved into his current partnerships role in 2019. He now works at the intersection of insurance, fintech, and healthtech. He aligns the company’s strategy with emerging technologies to create value for stakeholders.
Before MassMutual, Mohammed was the Founder and Managing Director of MADTECH. He ran the company for eight years. That entrepreneurial experience shaped his approach to building partnerships and ecosystems.
Mohammed earned a BS in Computer Systems Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He also holds a certificate in applied project management from Boston University.
