Michael Saltzman is the Co-Founder and Co-CEO of EvolutionIQ, the global leader in Claims Guidance AI for complex lines of insurance. Since launching the company in 2019, Michael has helped redefine how insurers use AI to drive better outcomes for injured and disabled claimants—transforming both the speed and quality of claims decisions.
In December 2024, Michael helped lead EvolutionIQ through a landmark acquisition by CCC Intelligent Solutions, marking one of the first major vertical AI mergers in the insurance industry. He’ll be sharing hard-earned insights on that journey during Match Education Day—from negotiating deal terms to managing culture through change.
Before co-founding EvolutionIQ, Michael spent over four years at Bridgewater Associates, where he worked on and led algorithmic investing teams focused on quantitative research. His experience in systems-driven decision-making at scale laid a foundation for the kind of structured, data-centric thinking that powers EvolutionIQ’s AI engine today.
Michael holds an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and a BA from Dartmouth College, where he graduated magna cum laude with a double major in Engineering and Economics. He also co-founded Roomie Rentals, the largest on-campus furniture rental business in the U.S., proving early on that he’s no stranger to building businesses from scratch.
