Michael Mannino is a Partner at Eversheds Sutherland. Eversheds Sutherland is a leading global law firm. Michael advises clients on complex and transformative business transactions. His work includes mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and venture capital investments. He has significant experience in the technology industry, including insurtech and medtech. Michael Mannino delivered a TED-style talk at the 2025 InsurTech Spring Conference, titled “7 Common Causes of Financing Deal Risk.”
Michael has spent his career at Eversheds Sutherland. He joined as an associate and rose to Counsel and then Partner. He advises clients ranging from small startups to established enterprises. He also provides corporate governance advice to shareholders and partners. His transactional work spans many industries, with a focus on technology.
Earlier, Michael clerked in the Office of the General Counsel at the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. There he participated in the rulemaking process for the Dodd-Frank Act. He helped draft a release published in the Federal Register. That experience gave him early exposure to financial regulation.
Michael earned a JD, cum laude, from the University of Georgia School of Law. He also holds a BBA, summa cum laude, from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business.
