Michael Guglielmo is an experienced insurance executive with a career spanning individual, insurtech, affinity, and group markets. He is currently in enterprise sales at GRAIL, a healthcare company focused on early cancer detection. Michael has a demonstrated history of building insurance programs, products, and strategic partnerships. He is skilled across all lines of insurance, with particular expertise in life insurance. His background spans sales, product development, and legal and financial matters. Michael spoke at a past InsurTechNY event.
Michael joined GRAIL in 2023 in life insurance carrier sales. He now serves as Associate Director of Enterprise Sales, focused on first responders. His work connects early cancer detection with the life insurance and benefits markets.
Before GRAIL, Michael was Chief Business Development Officer for strategic partnerships at eFinancial. Earlier, he spent nearly a decade at Mercer Health and Benefits. He served as Senior Vice President and Segment Leader. That role gave him deep experience in the group and affinity benefits markets.
Michael also served as President of CCM Insurance Services. Earlier, he spent 15 years at AGIA Insurance Service. He rose to Vice President of Account Management. That long tenure built his foundation across affinity and program insurance.
Michael earned a Juris Doctor from the Santa Barbara College of Law. He also holds a BA in Philosophy from UCLA. He is a member of the State Bar of California and holds life and P&C insurance licenses.
