Meredith Barnes-Cook is a Senior Principal in the insurance practice at Datos Insights. Datos Insights is a leading advisory and research partner for the insurance industry. Meredith is an insurance go-to-market and transformation strategist. She brings a blend of industry knowledge, digital expertise, and change management. Her experience spans claims, product, underwriting, loss prevention, and shared services. Meredith Barnes-Cook spoke at the 2025 InsurTech Spring Conference on the panel “Matching Marketing Expectations with CX,” alongside David Vanalek, Andrea Collins, Joe Welch, and Josh Levine.
Meredith is a well-known voice in insurance transformation. Before Datos Insights, she was a Partner in Transformation Services at ReSource Pro. Earlier, she served as Global Head of Insurance at Ushur, an AI automation startup. There she drove growth and brand awareness across the insurance market. That combination gave her both carrier-side and solution-provider experience.
Meredith is deeply engaged in the industry and in leadership development. She is an advisory council member for Harvard Business Review. She is also a member of Chief, a network for senior women leaders. She advises startups including Optimity and supports Bluebird Leaders, a nonprofit for women in healthcare and technology.
Meredith earned a BA in Psychology and American Political Science from Wheaton College in Massachusetts.
