Maxime Topolov is the Co-Founder and CEO of code.store. code.store builds custom ERP and business applications using low-code and AI. Its focus is scalable, high-performance software that companies fully own. The goal is to cut IT costs and automate workflows without vendor lock-in. Maxime is a lifelong technologist and repeat founder. Maxime Topolov delivered a TED-style talk at the 2025 InsurTech Spring Conference, titled “Cost Saving Low-Code AI Case Study with Generali.”
Maxime founded code.store in 2019. The company applies low-code tools and AI agents to build business software. His work helps companies replace legacy applications and reduce maintenance costs. He also serves as CEO of GraphQL Portal, an open-source API gateway.
Maxime is an experienced entrepreneur. In 2008, he founded Adyax, a digital agency. He grew it to nearly 500 employees and made it the EMEA leader in Drupal CMS. It served major clients including LVMH and Johnson & Johnson. He sold Adyax to Smile Open Source Experts in 2018.
Maxime built his early career in technology and telecom. He worked as a technical product manager and project lead at Streamwide. There he worked on VoIP and real-time billing platforms. He found his passion for coding as a child and co-created a video game as a teenager.
Maxime studied at Université Paris Cité and Pierre and Marie Curie University.
