Head of Product,

Lore Farrell

Slice

Lore Farrell is Head of Product Management at Slice Labs, a pioneer in on-demand and digital insurance solutions. With nearly a decade at Slice, Lore has helped shape the future of insurance products—from ideation through launch—across a variety of personal and commercial lines. She has been instrumental in building Slice’s robust digital platform, which empowers insurers and MGAs to bring innovative insurance products to market faster, with embedded, API-driven capabilities and customer-first experiences.

In her role, Lore leads cross-functional teams responsible for product strategy, market analysis, regulatory readiness, and roadmap execution. She works closely with underwriting, compliance, actuarial, and engineering partners to design both admitted and excess & surplus (E&S) products that meet the evolving needs of digital-native policyholders and distribution channels. Lore’s expertise spans a wide range of product types—from gig economy coverages to embedded insurance offerings—and she brings particular depth in evaluating whether a new product should be filed on an admitted basis or launched through E&S channels.

Before joining Slice Labs, Lore held leadership roles in product innovation and business analysis at CIC and Innovapost, where she drove early digital transformation initiatives in the financial services and logistics sectors. She began her career as a senior consultant at CGI, where she spent seven years advising enterprise clients on technology implementation and operational improvement.

With more than 20 years of experience bridging technology and insurance, Lore is known for her strategic thinking, collaborative leadership, and ability to translate complex ideas into customer-ready solutions. She is a frequent contributor to internal accelerator programs and industry discussions on product innovation and regulatory strategy.

Lore Farrell will be presenting at the 2025 MGA Lab Education Day, where she will help founders and product leaders navigate the decision-making process between launching admitted vs. E&S insurance products.
