Laura Hollerich is a Managing Director in the Advisory Services practice at EY. She leads the Distribution Optimization offering within EY’s Insurance Customer and Growth group. Laura is a senior executive with over 20 years of experience in commercial and personal insurance. She has deep expertise in global broker engagement and performance. She is known for building strategic relationships across the insurance marketplace. Laura Hollerich spoke at the 2023 InsurTech Spring Conference on the panel “From Broker to Trusted Advisor in Risk Management,” alongside Denise Campbell, Adam Blumencranz, Aaron Letzeiser, and James Crosson.
Laura has led EY’s distribution optimization work since 2019. She advises insurers on broker engagement and distribution performance. Her focus is helping carriers strengthen their most important trading relationships.
Before EY, Laura was SVP and Director of Global Operations for Major Trading Partner Engagement at QBE Insurance. She led the strategy and governance of QBE’s global broker relationships. Earlier, she was Head of Central Broker Management for the Americas at XL Group. There she led global broker engagement and built a center of excellence.
Laura also spent eight years at Tave Risk Management. She served as Director of Operations and Consulting Services. She designed and administered complex insurance programs for middle-market clients.
Laura earned a BS in Business from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She also serves on the Midwest board of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation.
