Josh Curry is a seasoned insurance and reinsurance executive currently serving as Head of Capital Solutions & Advisory at BMS Re / BMS Group, where he leads client-focused strategic initiatives spanning capital markets, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and bespoke financial solutions for insurance carriers and programme managers.
With more than a decade of industry experience, Josh brings deep expertise in developing tailored capital strategies that help insurers, managing general agents (MGAs), and hybrid carriers navigate complex financial and growth challenges. He joined BMS Re in 2023 as Executive Vice President of its ProLink Solutions team, charged with delivering innovative capital strategies and M&A advisory services to programme clients across the U.S. market.
Before his leadership role at BMS Re, Josh served as Head of Distribution, Americas at SiriusPoint, where he oversaw distribution strategy and market expansion in the U.S. Prior to that, he held operational leadership roles, including Chief Operating Officer for Specialty Property & Casualty at The Hanover Insurance Group, where he helped drive performance and business unit transformation.
Josh’s career also includes strategic market insight and underwriting roles at major players such as Travelers and Zurich Insurance, equipping him with a broad understanding of underwriting dynamics, capital markets, and the evolving reinsurance landscape. His academic foundation in economics and finance underpins his strategic approach to capital advisory and structured solutions.
