Jascha joined Munich Re in 2014 in Munich, Germany, and has built a global career focused on specialty lines underwriting, innovation, and strategic market development. His path at Munich Re includes a relocation to San Francisco in 2021 to expand the company’s underwriting efforts for artificial intelligence risks in the U.S. market, followed by a move to New York City to further scale Munich Re Specialty’s insurtech efforts. He is an actuary by training, bringing analytical rigor and industry insight to his leadership in insurtech solutions.
