Chris McClellan is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Incline Insurance Group, LLC, where he leads the company’s strategic vision and execution across all subsidiaries and affiliates in the property and casualty insurance market. With more than 25 years of diversified experience in the insurance industry, Chris is a seasoned executive with deep expertise in underwriting, regulatory strategy, operations, and corporate leadership.
Before assuming the role of President & CEO, Chris held multiple senior leadership positions within the industry, including Chief Operating Officer, General Counsel, and Director at another property and casualty insurance group. His comprehensive background combines legal acumen, operational insight, and executive strategy—skills he developed early in his career while practicing in private legal firms representing insurance companies, reinsurance carriers, MGAs, and related entities in corporate and regulatory matters.
In addition to his executive responsibilities at Incline, Chris has been a long-standing educator in risk management and insurance, teaching for more than two decades at the University of Texas McCombs School of Business. He also contributes his expertise to the university’s Risk Management Certification Advisory Committee, helping shape curriculum and professional standards for future insurance leaders.
Chris holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Houston, as well as both a Juris Doctor (JD) and an MBA from the University of Texas, reflecting his unique blend of business and legal training—all of which inform his leadership of Incline’s growth, innovation, and commitment to disciplined underwriting.
