Robert Pick is the Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Tokio Marine North America Services. The company provides technology and shared services to the North American businesses of the Tokio Marine Group. Robert also serves as Group Deputy CITO for Tokio Marine Group globally. His responsibilities span enterprise architecture, applications, analytics, digital, infrastructure, and security. He leads a large technology organization across the US, India, Costa Rica, and Eastern Europe. Robert Pick spoke at the 2025 InsurTech Spring Conference on the panel “New AI Tech Stack,” alongside Jeff Goldberg, Sam Rea, and Will Ross.
Robert has spent more than 12 years at Tokio Marine North America Services. He rose through the technology organization to his current role. He served as Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, then Senior Vice President and CIO. He was named Executive Vice President and CIO in 2021. His team supports several Tokio Marine carrier companies across dozens of locations.
Before insurance, Robert spent more than a decade at Condé Nast. He served as Senior Executive Director for Technology and acting Chief Information Security Officer. He led infrastructure and information security for the media company and more than 30 affiliated businesses. Earlier, he was a Principal Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers, leading large technology infrastructure programs.
Robert holds a master’s degree from Cornell University. He also earned a BA, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from McDaniel College. He serves on technology advisory boards for Guidewire, Duck Creek, and others.
