Aneesha Deshpande is Vice President, Marketing Actuary at SCOR, where she brings more than thirteen years of actuarial and product strategy experience to the insurance and reinsurance market. An actuary by training, Aneesha works across customer-focused product strategy, digital product development, strategic finance, budgeting, FP&A, and market expansion. Her background combines technical actuarial expertise with a practical understanding of how insurers develop products, improve profitability, and reach new markets. Aneesha spoke at a past InsurTech Spring Conference, here in NYC.
Before joining SCOR, Aneesha Deshpande spent more than four years at Haven Technologies and Haven Life in senior product and actuarial leadership roles. As Head of the Haven Tech Accelerator, Aneesha helped bring Haven’s technology, actuarial talent, analytics capabilities, and product-building experience to companies looking to develop better insurance products. Prior to that, she served as Head of Product Innovation at Haven Life, following her role as Senior Product Actuary focused on product innovation. Across these roles, Aneesha built experience at the intersection of actuarial strategy, insurance technology, and customer-focused product development.
Earlier in her career, Aneesha Deshpande served as AVP Actuary at Chubb, where she spent more than three years building actuarial experience at a major global insurer. Before Chubb, Aneesha held actuarial roles at Voya Financial, including Senior Actuarial Associate in Strategic Finance and Actuarial Associate in Pension Risk Transfer Product Development and Pricing. She began her actuarial career in pricing at ING, later building on a foundation that also included experience in structured settlements and client support.
Aneesha holds an Honours Bachelor of Mathematics in Actuarial Science, with a finance option, from the University of Waterloo. For an insurtech audience, Aneesha Deshpande brings a strong actuarial perspective on product innovation, digital insurance products, pricing, strategic finance, and the role of technology in helping insurers build products that are both commercially effective and customer focused.
