Andrew Wegrzyn

SixThirty Ventures

Andrew Wegrzyn is a Principal at SixThirty, a global venture capital firm investing in early-stage startups at the intersection of fintech, insurtech, and digital health. Based in St. Louis, Andrew leads sourcing, diligence, and deal execution for Seed and Series A investments, while actively supporting portfolio founders on go-to-market execution and strategic partnerships with SixThirty’s network of corporate LPs.

Since joining SixThirty in 2021, Andrew has played a key role in backing innovative companies including Angle Health, PayGround, Zirtue, Veda Pointe, and OneImaging. His portfolio spans digital infrastructure for health plans, financial inclusion tools, and AI-enabled patient engagement platforms. He brings a rare blend of domain depth and design thinking to the table—often helping founders refine strategy and accelerate growth from both an operator and investor lens.

Before venture, Andrew built a career bridging financial services and innovation. At Edward Jones, he served as a strategy consultant in firm analytics, focusing on advisor growth and digital client acquisition. At Citi Ventures, he contributed to strategic partnerships and product design engagements, notably collaborating with IDEO to launch City Builder, a platform that promoted investment in Opportunity Zones.

Andrew’s early career was rooted in clinical research at Washington University School of Medicine, where he managed oncology trials and collaborated with biopharma companies and academic institutions. His journey from managing trials to backing startups gives him a deep appreciation for regulated markets, complex stakeholders, and mission-driven innovation.

A passionate supporter of founders and a frequent contributor to the early-stage startup ecosystem, Andrew combines analytical rigor with human-centered insight. His experience across venture capital, strategy, and healthcare positions him uniquely to drive impact where technology and financial services converge.

Andrew Wegrzyn was a mentor on our InsurTech Match program, which connects investors and decision-makers to growth-stage InsurTech companies.
