It focuses on tailored coverage delivered with strategy and speed. Matthew founded the company to fix what he saw as an outdated, frustrating insurance experience. His team works with hundreds of operators and businesses nationwide. Matthew spoke at a past InsurTechNY event.
Matthew founded Nimble in 2023. His goal was to build a brokerage that rejects one-size-fits-all insurance. The company delivers programs designed for how modern businesses actually operate. That includes coverage design and claims advocacy.
Matthew is also a real estate investor. He is a multifamily investor with ownership across thousands of units nationwide. That operator perspective shapes how Nimble designs coverage for its clients.
Before Nimble, Matthew spent years in the insurance industry, largely in agent distribution. He advised the independent channel at Openly. He also advised on agent distribution at Ethos Life. He has consulted for Agentero and remains involved with the insurtech community as a storyteller and investor.
Matthew earned a degree in Accounting and Finance from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University.
