Bamboo Files for an IPO as InsurTech Tests the Public Markets Again
Bamboo Insurance Services filed a registration statement with the SEC for a proposed initial public offering of its Class A common stock. The homeowners insurance MGU plans to list on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol BMB.
Bamboo manages nearly $900 million in premium and reported approximately $173 million in revenue for the first half of 2026. The filing comes after CVC acquired a controlling stake in the business in 2025 in a transaction that valued Bamboo at approximately $1.75 billion.
