Tim Attia is the Co-Founder and CEO of Slice Labs, a pioneer in on-demand insurance and digital MGA enablement. Under his leadership, Slice has grown into a globally recognized InsurTech, empowering insurers and entrepreneurs to build intelligent, cloud-based insurance products tailored for today’s digital economy. Tim’s vision for the future of insurance—frictionless, customer-centric, and powered by real-time data—has made Slice a go-to partner for carriers and MGAs launching next-generation insurance experiences.
With over three decades of insurance technology experience, Tim brings deep expertise in building and scaling InsurTech ventures. Before founding Slice in 2015, he served as Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing at BOLT Solutions, where he helped expand the company’s digital distribution capabilities. Prior to that, he held senior leadership roles at several industry innovators including Exigen Insurance Solutions, Camilion Solutions, and CGI Group. Across these roles, Tim played a pivotal role in shaping enterprise insurance platforms and growing market share across North America and globally.
Tim is also a former Board Director at Workface Inc., a customer engagement platform, and was co-founder of Ajengo, a P&C insurance startup launched in the early 2000s. His early career included leading CGI’s Southeast U.S. operations out of Atlanta, building a foundation in insurance services delivery and client engagement.
Tim is widely recognized as a thought leader on the future of insurance distribution, embedded products, and the evolution of MGA infrastructure. His work at Slice has helped define the standards for how digital MGAs operate at scale.
