Kobi Bendelak is the CEO of InsurTech Israel. InsurTech Israel is the leading and most active organization in Israel’s insurtech ecosystem. Kobi founded the company to promote and advance insurtech in Israel. It operates across four areas: investments, consulting, media, and an accelerator program. He is a prominent figure in the global insurtech community. Kobi Bendelak delivered a TED-style talk at the 2025 InsurTech Spring Conference, titled “Managing InsurTech Ecosystem in Challenging Times.”
Kobi has led InsurTech Israel since 2017. Under his leadership, it has become the country’s foremost insurtech organization. He also serves as Group CEO of the Israeli Insurtech Accelerator. Through these roles, he has built an ecosystem that bridges traditional insurance and technology.
Before founding InsurTech Israel, Kobi was the founder and CEO of Reshef Insurance Brokers. Reshef was part of the Migdal and Generali Insurance Group. He brings more than 22 years of experience in the insurance industry. That deep background informs his ecosystem-building work.
Kobi is also active as a board member and advisor. He serves on the boards of several insurtech companies and organizations. These include Insurtech Israel News and Insurights.
Kobi earned a bachelor’s degree in Management and a master’s degree in Law. He completed both at Bar-Ilan University.
