The 2026 InsurTech NY Startup Competition features ten startups pitching live on stage at the Spring Conference — March 30–31 at Pier 60, New York City. Nine finalists have already been selected from nearly 200 global applicants. The tenth spot is decided differently: by public vote.
A shortlist of wildcard candidates have been invited to submit a short video pitch. Every pitch goes live in the gallery below the moment it’s approved. The startup with the most votes by March 11th earns the final spot on stage.

What’s at Stake
The top 10 finalists pitch live in front of investors, carriers, brokers, and insurtech leaders at the InsurTech NY Spring Conference. The competition awards over $200,000 in in-kind prizes across two categories.
Beyond the prizes, finalists gain direct access to the decision-makers and investors in the room — an audience built specifically for insurtech growth-stage companies.
How the Wildcard Works
Wildcard candidates were invited to submit a video pitch of under one minute. Pitches go live in the gallery immediately upon approval — the earlier a company submits, the earlier they can start collecting votes. Voting is open to the public, which means every company’s network, customers, and community have a say in who makes it to the stage.

The wildcard winner will be announced shortly after voting closes and will join the nine confirmed finalists competing at the Spring Conference on March 30–31.
About the 2026 Spring Conference
The InsurTech NY 2026 Spring Conference, themed The Human Side of Insurance, brings together over 1,000 insurance leaders across two days of programming at Pier 60, NYC. Two tracks — Property & Casualty and Life & Health — cover distribution, underwriting, claims, embedded insurance, and the organizational change required to lead through AI transformation.
